I have worked in the logistics/transportation industry for over 20 years, organizing all product movements in the supply chain from any location in the world through delivery to the final destination via land, sea, air, and/or train, and managing all processes.I worked for NYK, one of the world's leading transportation firms located in Tokyo between 2003 - 2012. As "HUB Operations Supervisor" at the Regional HQ in London between 2003 and 2006, I was responsible for the control and administration of other European branches (Italy, Spain, France, Germany, Portugal, Netherlands, and Belgium) as well as the coordination of all European supply chain operations for the US largest building material retail chain. I was promoted and returned to Istanbul as a result of my outstanding performance (2007).As "Client Development Manager" I was responsible for customer relations between 2007 and 2012. I was in charge of new and/or current practices of customer projects. I established new business opportunities, enhanced commercial profitability, and improved the business quality of the service supplied by participating in the sales and tender procedures. I worked as an "Ocean Freight Forwarding & Supply Chain Solutions Manager" from 2013 to 2018. I created the departments of "Ocean Freight Forwarding" and "Supply Chain Solutions" in 2013. I made sure that key customers like Tesco, Kingfisher, and Walmart were included in the company's portfolio. I effectively managed the transition of the marine operations team from the Kewill GDS program to the Cargo Wise program using my technical knowledge and skills in logistics management systems such as Kewill GDS and Cargo Wise (2016). Yusen Logistics Turkey partnered with Inci Logistics in 2017. Starting with the technological infrastructure, it took roughly a year to guarantee that every area was integrated. Business processes, systems, and reporting have been adjusted to YUSEN procedures so that institutions can function in harmony and balance. I have managed two distinct teams with the most employees in the previous 5 years. In addition to Japanese business principles and culture, I have spent 15 years using the KAIZEN methodology with various client profiles in various positions and places. I have worked in supply chain management at various phases (including tender).
