Oceanographer graduated from the Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG), with a master's degree (Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte - UFRN) and a doctorate (University of Sydney - USYD) in Ecology. I believe that reconciling humans and nature is the way to ensure a sustainable planet for future generations. Thus, I seek to develop and implement solutions that contribute to environmental, social and economic sustainability in cities and institutions.Over a 15-year career I had the opportunity to lead and manage 7 research projects in the areas of environmental impact, management and sustainability, working in the public, private and third sector. Such experiences allowed me to identify the need to innovate in more sustainable practices and implement new ideas and technologies that improve the management and use of natural resources.Since 2010, acting as a research leader, my main responsibilities were to coordinate teams and establish partnerships with national and international institutions, in addition to carrying out activities such as data and resource management, and communication of knowledge with different audiences. This experience as a leader allowed me to develop skills such as logical thinking (formulation of ideas and hypotheses, problem solving, decision making), flexibility and adaptability, punctuality in deliveries, planning, people management and teamwork.
