After working non-profit with different film projects during my studies, the natural step was to start a film production company to be able to continue the development of my skills. Novix Productions was started in 2013 and I, together with three classmates, worked with film production alongside our studies. Today, there are two of us running the company and during the last two years we have been working on a large information film about the national minority Forest Finns. Before that we were working with clients such as Mensa, Memento Film, ÅF among others. My main responsibilities within the company are project management and grading. This means that I am responsible for creating a project plan and making sure that we keep our budget. It is also my job to make sure that we keep our time plan and can deliver on time. As a colorist I work creatively with grading to make every video file become visual attractive to look at. I also work with colors to create different kinds of emotions. Other than that I work as an art director, as an editor, as a camera operator among others.

I am a board member of Salaguno, a company that works with AR and computer vision. My job is to work with strategic questions regarding how the company should develop and move forward. This means, among other things, that I analyze the market for AR and advice on how Salaguno can expand within said market. In this role I contribute with client understanding in negotiations and I give input on the technical challenges with the AR technology. I also do practical tasks regarding marketing. For example, I am responsible for the company's graphical profile and the design of the logo. I am responsible for content such as photographs and videos used in Salaguno's social media. The latest project that Salaguno has been working on is an app that measures the height of trees, an app that are used today within the forest industry.

A combination of strategic workflow development and hands on technical work, the role of Tech Media Op combines several layers of abstraction. Together with practical ingest work, my responsibility was to continuously improve the methods and tools we used to manage the growing amount of media that was processed through our pipeline.

The job revolved around importing, preprocessing and transcoding media files for VoD distribution at Viaplay. Although most of the actual day-to-day revolved around manual and semi-autonomous media asset management, it was equally important to be able to communicate with third parties that supplied said media files.

My main responsibility was to prepare a film project for grading and to assist the colorists during the project to make sure that they had everything they needed during the grading process. I was responsible for the visual part of the video file, from when it had been edited to delivery. I made sure that the image looked correct before passing it on for delivery to TV and cinema. Other than that I worked with the mastering of the visual image with the final audio mix and then delivering a finished file. This means that I had to watch every video to quality check and make sure that there were no technical errors. My role also had a lot of contact with customers, where it was important to be responsive and adaptive. During my time at Chimney I have worked with productions such as Quicksand, Storm på Lugna Gatan (Julkalendern 2018), Andra Åket among others. During these projects I have been responsible for the image as well as the final delivery of the episodes to the different channels.

At SVT’s media centre my main responsibility was to prepare SVT’s different programs for broadcast and SVT Play. This meant that I put combined media files from different parts of the post production and made a broadcast package out of them. After that, I went through the files, from start to finish, and made sure that all the parts fulfilled SVT’s technical specification for broadcast. I was responsible for the technical quality control of the programs being sent for distribution online and in broadcast. The role also included a lot of communication between project managers, producers and clients.

I worked as a production trainee during Eurovision Song Contest 2016 where my main responsibility was as a EVS operator. My role meant that I was responsible for the back up broadcast so that there was always another recording playing at the same time as the broadcast, in case of unexpected problems. For example I was a part of saving one of the artist performances for the jury because there was a technical error at the time. Other than that I helped with setting up cameras and put out all the fibre cables through Ericsson Globe.

The chapter of Media Technology is a non-profit organisation at KTH that gathers the students from the Media Technology program. I was a the CFO for the chapter and as a part of that job I managed the chapters economy and accounting. I also had the main responsibility for the budget and to do follow up on that. As a CFO I was also a part of the board where I worked with strategic questions to move the chapter forward.

At IKEA I worked as a cashier where I scanned items and handled the payments from customers. I also worked with keeping it nice and clean around the checkout area and made sure that there were no forgotten items lying around and so that all the items were placed nice and neatly at their shelfs. I had the responsibility for a team during some of my work days which meant that I had to plan the breaks for my team and make sure that everyone got the breaks they needed.

I was a trainee at the TV-production of FIS World Cup in Falun 2015. Some of my responsibilities was to assist one of the rail cameras alongside the ski track where I made sure that the lens was clean from snow and that the audience did not have any flags in front of the camera. I also helped the camera crew by driving them to their predetermined positions alongside the ski track. This also included basic logistics such as food packs for them, something that was appreciated since they were standing outside in the cold. I worked administratively with preparing files for different media and distribution, for example usb sticks and video tapes.
