Åsa graduated with a Bachelor in Business and Administration from Stockholm University. She has worked in the financial industry since 1987 when she began her career at Carnegie working as a financial Analyst covering companies in the Nordic region holding both sector responsibilities and regional responsibilities. In 1990 she moved on to the Asset Management side of Carnegie, Fides, working as a Portfolio Manager for high net worth individuals. Thereafter she became a Fund Manager at Nordbanken Funds managing both listed equity funds and institutional mandates. Åsa was recruited to Alfred Berg in 1994 to join the European desk in a sales capacity and was made head of the department in 1997. She moved to the Swedish desk in 2000 and worked in a senior sales capacity until 2006. In 2007 she joined Kaupthing as joint Global Head of Account Management before leaving in the spring of 2008. She joined Hogarth Davies Lloyd, Stockholm office in the summer of 2008.
