Division General Manager And CfoNight Owl Security A Division Of Vector Security Jul 1987 - Sep 1994Served as the General Manager and head of the Night Owl division, responsible for all areas of operations, sales, systems, finance, and customer service. The division had revenues of approximately $4.7 million, a staff of 65, two offices and operated in four states. After becoming a part of Vector Security in January of 1993, we were part of a large regional security company with offices from New York to Washington, D.C. We monitored the alarms of nearly 9,000 customers in our division alone with many times that overall. We were the largest residential security company in the Washington, D.C. area.Prior to merging operations, as VP and head of systems I was responsible for all automation within the company. This included 24/7 operations with life safety priority involving communications, infrastructure, power, and inspections from Underwriters Laboratories. I was also responsible for the customer service and our alarm monitoring facility.
