CurrentHiDubai is a discovery platform powered by the Dubai Economy Department, enabling users to search, review, and interact with registered businesses in Dubai. Business owners can claim and manage their profiles, while users can create and share lists. The platform is built on a scalable architecture to handle high traffic(in 10s of Million per month), using Java, Spring Boot, and MongoDB for efficient data handling, with a responsive AngularJS front-end for an intuitive user experience.· Designed and implemented scalable back-end solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and MongoDB to support high traffic and efficient data management.· Developed and optimized RESTful APIs for seamless integration between front-end applications and back-end services, improving system performance and reliability.· Performed a full system migration from Java 8 to Java 21, ensuring compatibility and leveraging new language features for improved performance and security.· Designed and implemented "Ghost Trafficker," an internal tool written in Golang to analyze and compare request/response matching between legacy code and the newly migrated Java 21 system.
