Tall story heights and even larger spans in commercial buildings like shopping malls attracted me to choose this field. I am a civil engineer with a specialization in construction management. I had joined a number of other fields in civil engineering, i.e. structural, architectural and Geotechnical etc., but found my interest in Quantity Surveying only because this is the one that keeps me connected with all other related fields i.e. Architectural, Structural, Civil, Sites and MEPs etc. My interest to work on modern and soft solutions allows no boundaries; in 2017 after working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor for three years, I started reading Building Codes of USA and Canada also about the construction systems of these countries. Since 2018, I have been working with two Canadian and three USA-based sub-contractors on a permanent basis.
