BrainstormIL is the national hub of the Neuro-tech ecosystem in Israel, supporting the advancement and R&D of neuroscience-based technology.As part of this effort, we maintain active chapters in all Israeli universities, as well as nation-wide projects such as early-stage entrepreneurship competitions (Neuropitch!), reports on the state of the ecosystem (Roadmap project), R&D hubs with free access to hardware & knowledge (NeuroHUB initiative), academic seminars and courses, and more.* Co-founded a national non-profit association.* Manage multi-institute teams (26 people) to lead a distributed, national, neurotech community.* Manage goals, budgets, partnerships, organizational structure, hiring and mentoring.

I had the priviledge to lead PrediMed through a successful clinical trial, represent the pediatric digital health in radiology need in several conferences, and grow a prominent network in Israel and abroad.Leading a startup is a tremendous challenge, and having a great team is a necessity. In this role, I have learned to listen carefully to advice, support and encourage colleagues, and ultimately take responsiblity for the success or failure of my decisions.

PrediMed is an AI-based clinical decision support platform that aims to reduce the use of anesthesia in children undergoing MRI scans. PrediMed was founded by a diverse team of researchers, engineers, and doctors - all graduates of the Biodesign-Stanford program, which is held in collaboration with Rambam Hospital and the Technion in Haifa, Israel.

A national project and academic course for graduate students, with the following goals:(1) Development and deployment of brain-controlled communication devices (assistive BCI) for paralyzed patients suffering from ALS (degenerative muscular atrophy);(2) Teaching students cutting-edge EEG-based Brain Computer Interfaces (BCI) – utilizing neuroscience and machine learning tools.This venture is in collaboration with Ben-Gurion University, the Technion Institute, Tel-Aviv University, University of Haifa, Brainstorm IL (NPO) and IsrA.L.S (NPO).

Researching effects of stimuli contrast modulation on EEG markers.* Leading multi-institution collaborative teams to research & develop brain-computer interfaces for ALS patients.* Design and implement human BCI experimental paradigms to analyze offline and online visual and motor imagery communication systems.* Design and execute human sleep deprivation experimental paradigms within Israeli Air Force.* Mentor 3 undergraduate and 2 graduate students.

Biodesign Israel is a medical entrepreneurship and innovation training program, operating as part of the multidisciplinary collaboration between the Stanford Faculty of Medicine and Stanford Hospital, and Rambam Medical Center in Haifa. The ultimate goal is to train leading entrepreneurs in the fields of HealthTech and enhance medical ventures that will improve the lives of millions of people worldwide.
