About Asaf Lewin

Visionary and business-oriented senior technology leader with over 35 years of multidisciplinary hands-on technological and entrepreneurship experience. Prior to founding Sim Dot Space, Lewin lead the Software and Simulations team at SpaceIL an Israeli organization that has developed and built a Moon lander launched on February 2019 that has successfully orbited the moon but experienced an electric system failure during the landing attempt. Prior to SpaceIL Lewin founded several startup companies one of which is listed in NASDAQ. Asaf oversaw the development of several extensive real-time simulations and visual reconnaissance systems at Elron Software [NASDAQ: ELRNF], in the capacity of division manager. Asaf began his career in the Israeli Air Force, where he attained the rank of major. Having completed a bachelor's degree cum laude in Aeronautical and Astronautics engineering at the Technion (the Israel Institute of Technology), and as a Major in the Israeli air-force where he was responsible for all F16 avionics software.
