As the Founder and CEO of ScholarX, I lead an initiative focused on empowering students from underprivileged backgrounds by providing access to scholarships, educational resources, and skill development opportunities. Since its inception in 2022, ScholarX has supported over 5,000 students across Egypt in securing scholarships and furthering their educational and professional aspirations.In my role, I oversee the strategic planning, operations, and growth of the organization, working closely with a dedicated team to ensure that students receive personalized guidance throughout the scholarship application process. We offer workshops, one-on-one mentorship, and online resources designed to increase students’ chances of success. Under my leadership, ScholarX has formed partnerships with numerous educational institutions and international organizations, helping to bridge the gap between talented youth and the opportunities they deserve.My mission with ScholarX is to create lasting, positive change in education by helping students overcome financial and social barriers to access quality education, both locally and internationally.

As the Event Planning Manager at Wavemakers Egypt, I am responsible for organizing and managing key events that drive youth engagement and social impact initiatives across Egypt. My role involves coordinating all aspects of event planning, including venue selection, logistics, team management, and day-of-event execution. I work closely with partners, sponsors, and team members to ensure that each event runs smoothly and aligns with Wavemakers' mission to empower young people through education and skill-building opportunities.I also oversee the recruitment and training of volunteers, manage event budgets, and collaborate with external stakeholders to create impactful and memorable experiences for participants. My experience in event planning and leadership has allowed me to successfully execute multiple large-scale events that foster collaboration, creativity, and community engagement.

Participated in the prestigious Study of the U.S. Institutes (SUSIs) for Student Leaders program. This intensive five-week program focused on Economic Empowerment and provided a deep understanding of U.S. society, government, and culture. Through seminars, discussions, and site visits, I gained valuable knowledge on U.S. economic systems, entrepreneurship, and social capital development. The program also offered workshops on financial literacy and leadership skills, equipping me to tackle the challenges of the future workplace. This experience allowed me to connect with international peers from +7 countries and broaden my perspective on global economic issues.ꙮ I had been at UMass Amherst for a full five weeks under the implementation of Donahue Institute to study and practice the theme of Economic empowerment. It was a fully-funded scholarship funded by the U.S. Department of State and implemented by Meridian International Center.ꙮ Awarded a competitive SUSI Global Student Leaders Mini-Grant. Chosen from a pool of 80 alumni, I received funding to pursue one of 20 impactful projects focused on empowering the sense of sustainable development goals.

I had the privilege of participating in the Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub program, an initiative designed to support early-stage startups by providing access to essential tools, resources, and mentorship. Throughout my time in the program, I gained valuable insights into scaling and managing a startup, with access to Microsoft’s cloud services, business solutions, and expert guidance.As part of the program, I utilized Azure and other Microsoft technologies to enhance the development of ScholarX, the educational platform I founded. The program not only provided technical support but also helped me strengthen my business model, improve product development, and expand my network through Microsoft’s global community of founders and industry experts. The skills and resources I acquired from this experience have been instrumental in driving ScholarX’s growth and success.

As a Project Manager at EmpowerHUB, I was responsible for overseeing the first cohort of the Scholarship Academy, an initiative aimed at empowering young students by providing them with the necessary tools and knowledge to secure local and international scholarships. I played a key role in developing the academy's curriculum, coordinating training sessions, and managing a team of mentors who guided students through the complex scholarship application process.During my tenure, I ensured the successful execution of workshops, one-on-one mentorship programs, and community outreach, ultimately helping students improve their academic profiles and application strategies. Under my leadership, the first cohort saw a significant number of students securing scholarships, which had a direct and lasting impact on their educational journeys. My role also involved meticulous project planning, resource management, and fostering partnerships with educational institutions to expand the academy’s reach and influence.

6-month Fellowship Program with MARJ3The purpose of the Fellowship program is to provide an opportunity for individuals to substantially contribute to and learn from our work. The Fellow will be given specific tasks and responsibilities and will be challenged to develop their capabilities and gain experience.
