The team was responsible for a solution that enables producers, journalists and operators to create branded maps and geographic animations in real time. • Implemented a set of high development standards by fostering clean code practices, emphasizing design patterns, code reviews and design reviews - working directly with the Head of R&D.• Developed in both client and server sides, mainly in C++.• Maintained and fixed bugs in a large legacy code base.

Tel Aviv

Key member of the infrastructure team of ProtecTIER, IBM's enterprise storage solution for data protection. The product was mainly written in C++, highly concurrent and used advanced storage, compression and deduplication technologies. The team was responsible for developing core infrastructure components such as metadata manager, memory management, logging, coding infrastructure, etc.• Implemented low-level data structures in a multi-process, multi-threaded environment.• Implemented an error-handling mechanism that improved developers productivity and greatly reduced bug resolution times.• Mentored new programmers and taught them about the development process and the product.
