In that role I develop and support various security features for ONTAP products.● Developed ONTAP key manager to work with Azure AKV and GCP KMS.● Design and develop TPM support for ONTAP key manager application.● Developed KMIP support for ONTAP multitenant key manager.● Developed OpenSSL based encryption for ONTAP internal APIs.

Senior member of the Software-Defined Fabric Networking team. In that role I develop and support both kernel and user space software in the FreeBSD networking stack. Design and develop software written in C and C++ for L2 and L4 features.● Develop DHCP capabilities for AWS and Azure NetApp application, Cloud ONTAP.● Provide customers support and resolved customers issues in L2 and L4 areas.

Technical leader in the platform dependent group. Developed several L2 and L3 features for the company’s chassis based switch-router using Broadcom chips.● Developed Access List capabilities for Extreme’s different platforms.● Developed Mirroring capabilities on all Extreme’s platforms.● Provided customers support and worked with product managers to design new capabilities.

Technical leader in the data plane group. Specified, designed, developed, tested and debugged embedded software for a re-architected ECI’s switch-router features. All development was done using C++ with Linux operating system. Bridged the communication gap between different global teams in US, Israel and India. Helped with recruiting, mentored and provided training sessions for other engineers.● Refactored existing software to enable VPLS functionality on a new hardware platform. ● Architected a new FPGA chip with extended L2 capabilities together with system and FPGA engineers.● Specified, designed and developed the new chip driver. ● Managed MAC learning project on the corporate level, created and monitored project schedule and coordinated different R&D groups from different geographical locations.● Achieved the successful delivery of the MLE project on time that allowed ECI to improve its switch-router MAC learning rate by 100 times.● Led a team as we designed and developed a SW module which allowed ECI’s new switch-router to extend its portfolio with a 3d-party HW cards.

Led a team of 4 SW engineers as we developed L2/L3 protocols for DSLAM. Provided system specifications and SW design of the system. Recruited new engineers tutored them and provided a performance appraisal to the team members. Managed project schedulers and acted as a focal point for the rest of the R&D teams. • Developed IP forwarding capabilities based on Marvell and Broadcom switches, integrated a 3d-party stack with RIP protocol, integrated new capabilities with the existing DSLAM’s L2 data plane, developed management plane and integrated it with the existing one.• Selected 3d-party SW stacks based on criteria I defined to meet business requirements.• Acted as a customer support liaison who has a system wide understanding and the experience of debugging a complex field problems.

A team member of a DSLAM application level development team. Designed and implemented a management and a data planes of a various applications like VoIP, BPON and EFM. All projects were developed in C using VxWorks, in the real-time, multitasked and distributed environment.• Invented and developed a new mechanism for a standard database that provides SNMP table representation in the management plane of a DSLAM. A successful integration of the mechanism allowed significantly decrease the implementation time for a new features. • Developed a data plane for VoIP application of a DSLAM. • Developed data synchronization mechanism for the redundancy in DSLAM using persistent data storage.

• Developed games for mobile phones using object-oriented approach with JAVA/J2ME.• Developed back-office application for managing gaming online site using Perl, Javascript, SQL and HTML.

Provided customer support, managed Cisco switches, built and installed Windows machines.
