The Laboratory is the innovation hub of the H&M Group with a mission to help prepare the company for the future.As coordinator, I was a key person at the department and responsible for various coordination. This involved everything from preparing the introduction of new colleagues, coordinating big and small meetings, leading the work with renovations and interior decorating, to being a contact person for the entire department.A very large part of my time was spent creating presentation material for meetings with top management and other important meetings. I was often a matter of creating a suitable layout, editing text and finding images from a simpler sketch (and with a tight schedule). I was very proud when I was given the opportunity to create the presentation when the then newly appointed Managing Directors for H&M should present their plan going forward. An assignment that would normally go to an external agency.While at Laboratory, another prominent part of my job was to be project coordinator for H&M's design collaborations (Kenzo, Erdem, Moschino, Giambattista Valli and Simone Rocha). Each collaboration ran for a full year and I supported the project manager at the global marketing department in various ways plus acted as a link between her and the responsible for these projects (my manager at The Laboratory). I also ran my own project within these collaborations, to produce the graphic identity which included, for example, the logo for the entire collaboration, design of bags, hangers and shoe boxes.I also assisted the Head of Laboratory with administration, research before meetings, booking travel and much more. Thanks to reorganizations, I assisted the same person during all my seven years at H&M Group.

This was a very coordinating role where, in addition to assisting Brand Manager, I also worked closely with H&M's Creative Director. I created a lot of presentation material for top management where, for example, monthly meetings with the Group's CEO were recurring. I was also responsible for most of the department's coordination (high and low).I now ran my first own project, which meant producing H&M's first ever brand film. It was based on the brand strategy developed by the department and, in addition to building the brand, should inspire all employees globally and make them feel proud to work at H&M. I worked with an American agency and we filmed a mix of employees to famous models in New York.

As an assistant to the global Head of Marketing and Brand at H&M, I came to work very closely with the top management at H&M and quickly gained an insight into the entire company. In my role, I came to work very closely with H&M's Creative Director and to some extent also assisted him.Prominent tasks were to handle all my manager's correspondence, take notes during important meetings, manage coordination regarding travel and meetings. I was also responsible for updating the global activity plan that governed all global marketing campaigns throughout the year.In this role, I myself took the initiative to start creating presentations, something that the in-house agency at the department had previously done. This became a very important part through all my different roles at the company going forward.

For 12 years I ran my own company as a photographer and was part of a photo studio in central Stockholm. My focus was on portraits, editorial work and interior design. I managed the company's finances, produced my own website and sold pictures via the stock photo agency Folio.
