InoChem is a unique and a first-mover project in the GCC and the largest by far in the MEA region for the production of Soda Ash and Calcium Chloride with a combined total annual output of 648,000 metric tons and an investment of SAR 4 billion. In my capacity as CA Director, I established and managed many functions within the company and my role can be lightly described as "Shared Service Plus. My mission success was critical in the success of InoChem and contributed significantly to where it is today. I was the 5th hire in the company and managed the following areas: - Human Resources Department (establishment, operations and strategic planning)- Company legal and financial structures (capital raise, debt raise, forming a Joint Stock Company ..etc)- Board Advisory & Relations - Secretary of the Board and all Committees- Legal Affairs- Shareholder Relations- Public RelationsKey Achievements:• At InoChem, I was the 5th hire and significantly contributed to delivering critical company objectives. I was a key contributor in achieving equity raise (800 million), debt raise (2.2 billion) and construction of 1,000,000 sqm industrial complex in Ras AlKhair Industrial City• Designed the Grade & Pay structures for Saudi using Hay methodology (inclusive of JD creation & evaluation, job mapping & scale plotting, career & succession planning ... etc)• Built the entire HR & organization structures in accordance to best practices at peer level groups• strategized and designed grade and pay scales using Hay methods and positioned the company appropriately against the peer groups for the pre-operating phase, first year of operations, and 5 years strategy separately. Serco is a massive multinational player who specializes in general services and have established their presence in Saudi on late 2010 to be part of this critical market. Serco was also contracted to manage the whole TAQAT program and network on behalf of, and in liaison with, HRDF (2012 - 2014). During my tenure, I managed the entire HR Department for Saudi Arabia. Was responsible for strategizing, developing, and implementing the HR Function for the Saudi market. I was as well responsible for the deliverables of Serco’s contract with HRDF to manage TAQAT program at its inception on behalf of HRDF and through this contract we managed +180 unique locations with +10 service providers, including TAQAT program strategies, KPI's development, and reward policies.Key Achievements:• Maintained human resources regulatory compliance with Saudi and UAE laws and regulations• Developed and executed HR policies and programs, workforce and job development, recruitment and hiring, compensation and benefits and employee and labor relations to build staff-focused human resources office culture.• Liaised between multiple business divisions to improve communications.• Developed succession plans and career progressions for employees.• Managed TAQAT program as program Director in addition to my responsibilities as HR Director. • Redesigned total rewards program to best-fit local market
