For over 35 years, I have been traveling, photographing, creating, and educating as a professional photographer and founder of Asa Mathat Photography. I have worked with some of the most influential and inspiring people and organizations around the world, from Warren Buffett and Steve Jobs to TED, Recode, and Fortune's Most Powerful Women. My work has been published globally, in The Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Washington Post, LA Times, and USAToday, among others.In 2019, I founded ASA Foundation, a nonprofit organization that leverages my passion for art and social impact to empower homeless, foster, and LGBTQ+ youth through photo and film education. I created Camp Enlightenment, a deeply immersive, 12-month program that provides mentorship, skills, and opportunities for these marginalized and underserved communities. Through ASA Foundation, I aim to contribute joy and love into the world and help these youth find their voice and vision.
