With over 15 years of experience in community development and engagement, I currently work in the engagement team at Wannon Water, a regional water corporation that provides water and sewerage services to more than 30 communities.I am the co-creator of STOKED, a surf therapy program that teaches surfing as a coping strategy for mental health, connects young people to community, and delivers education on mental health and wellbeing. STOKED won the Vic Health Award for Building Back Better in 2022 and was a finalist in 2021. I am also the co-creator of IMPACT, a roadmap to social emotional wellbeing program that empowers young people to take charge of their lives and futures. I hold a Diploma in Community Services and a Bachelor's Degree in Health Science, and I believe in a holistic approach to health and wellbeing, which underpins all my work. I emigrated from Sweden in 2001 and I am passionate about lifelong learning, community, and belonging.
