Proposed Labour Accommodation Development on Plot 599-1772 at Jebel AliIndustrial, Dubai (Building works)Duties & Responsibilities; Agreeing quantities with the PQS representatives Measuring value of work done from drawings and by taking actual site measurements Dealing with Consultant Engineer and Cost consultant with various commercial issues Preparing Internal and Interim values Monthly Contractor’s Payment applications Assisting the Senior QS in preparing costs and new rates Reporting discrepancies between actual construction drawings and Contract drawings Identifying, pricing and agreeing project variations Checking subcontractor invoices and certifying for payments Collecting / recording event details from site to establish EOT / variations / contra charges etc. Regular communication with project staff and subcontractors to ensure commercial controls arein place, understood and followed at all times
