Agile leader returning to coding in React and JavaI have worked in digital product development for over 20 years in various roles. In my early years in the industry, I worked as a software developer for 6-7 years. Afterward, I've held various roles in agile leadership, such as project manager, scrum master, team lead, and development manager.About 1.5 years ago, I decided to return to a developer role after a short break of 14 years 🙂. During this time, I felt a strong longing to get back into the details and contribute more hands-on in development and within the teams. To refresh my skills and to see if my passion for development was still burning, I took an online course in web development. After that, there were no doubts; it was something I wanted to continue, and I was determined to navigate back to a developer role.I had the opportunity to be part of Forefront's Tech Evolution program from August '22 to June '23. The focus was on strengthening the ability to deliver high-quality and maintainable code, gaining knowledge and experience in modern frameworks, concepts, and design principles (e.g., React, Docker, CI/CD, Cloud Services, Git, SOLID, TDD). During the year, I also worked on an internal project with a focus on frontend development in React/Typescript.My previous merits primarily involve Java development, so I've picked up that thread again. My focus now is on Java Spring Framework/Spring Boot and developing REST APIs in combination with React on the frontend. I'm concluding my journey at Forefront and continuing with online learning, primarily through Udemy, while combining it with personal projects to experiment, gain further experience, and have fun 🤩!I might not have extensive experience as a developer in terms of "modern development," but I have a strong drive and motivation to put in the work required. In my toolkit, I also have extensive experience working closely with and in development teams. It has given me a deep understanding of the development process and what it takes to deliver services/products with quality.💥 It's time to step out of my comfort zone, and from now on, I'm actively seeking roles as a developer, preferably at a product or service company with a tech stack that includes Java Spring & Spring Boot and React. 💥"
