Trainee Counselling Psychologist (final year), Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner & Supervisor, I have a keen interest in psychotherapeutic work and engaged in such for the past 5+ years. I perceive myself as a pluralistic practitioner, using a plethora of psychotherapeutic approaches to conceptualise human suffering. My practice, as a practitioner and a supervisor, has generally been within primary (IAPT) and secondary (CMHT) care settings. Currently completing the doctorate in Counselling Psychology and focusing on my research ‘Exploring shame within psychotherapeutic settings: a practitioner’s perspective’.
