Sustainability Field Coordinator
Current1. Project Implementation: Leading and coordinating sustainability projects in the field. This include everything from conservation initiatives to sustainable farming practices.2. Stakeholder Engagement: Building relationships with local communities, farmers, and other stakeholders to promote and integrate sustainability initiatives.3. Data Collection: Gathering, analyzing, and reporting data on various sustainability metrics. This include data on crop yields, water usage, carbon footprint, and other relevant sustainability metrics.4. Training: Providing training and workshops for local teams, farmers, and other stakeholders on best practices related to sustainability.5. Reporting: Keeping Sustainability Functional Coordinators informed about the progress, challenges, and successes of the sustainability initiatives.6. Continuous Improvement: Regularly reviewing and suggesting improvements to existing sustainability practices and operations in the field.7. Collaboration: Working closely with other departments within Cargill (e.g., supply chain, logistics, procurement) to ensure alignment of sustainability goals.8. Compliance: Ensuring that local operations comply with both company sustainability standards and any applicable local, national, or international regulations.9. Research: Staying up-to-date with the latest sustainability trends, technologies, and practices, and exploring how they can be incorporated into Cargill's operations.10. Problem Solving: Addressing any challenges or barriers to implementing sustainability initiatives and coming up with innovative solutions.
