While finishing my undergraduate education, I was hired as a research assistant in the Dr. Ptaszek's organic synthesis laboratory where I previously was an undergraduate researcher. My responsibilities included to order and manage the chemical inventory, guide other researchers, propose potential projects, design synthetic routes, purify samples, and analyze samples using NMR, MS, and spectroscopy.

I joined Dr. Ptaszek's organic synthesis laboratory during my first undergraduate year at UMBC. My role in the laboratory was to design synthetic routes to desirable products, perform experiments, purifiy samples, and analyze samples with NMR, MALDI-MS, and Spectroscopy.

My role in this position was to maintain inventory, help prepare for experiments, set-up experiments for students, and clean-up after experiments.
