Knightec AB is a consultancy company focusing on product development, production development and business development within several different industries, such as medical devices, packaging, defense, vehicles and telecommunications.I worked at Knightec as a mechanical designer, surface designer and subproject manager.The work as mechanical designer consisted of generating concepts, making prototypes, testing and evaluation. The selection was made together with the costumer and then I did 3D models and 2D drawings for series production. My specialties was designing for high volume injection molding and advanced surface design in ProEngineer.Besides being mechanical designer I also worked as subproject manager for mechanical design and development. I usually had responsibility for time, function, quality, manufacturing and product costs.

I worked at Ericsson Industrial Design department as Sr. Surface Designer and Studio Engineer. I provided surface design and studio engineering competence in industrial design projects. As Surface Designer I contributed with surface design competence in cross functional product development teams, and delivered class A surfaces to the mechanical engineers. A class A surface is a visible surface with high demands on surface finish and curvature continuity. I worked as Surface Designer in most of the projects performed by the Industrial Design department, tightly together with the Industrial Designers.As Studio Engineer I contributed with concept modeling, mechanical design and production methods experience.I took part in the strategic work within the ID department, for example by writing a document that described my different roles at Ericsson and the way of working.
