As a Major, I lead the Army Reserve CI Detachment responsible for operational and training support to military organizations and federal law enforcement agencies throughout the US Southeast. I plan and execute training to ensure all of my Agents are prepared to perform their duties both here in the US and abroad. I spearheaded a first-in-market corporate intelligence practice focused on talent acquisition and improving lateral recruiting at the top law firms in the world, and built it from zero to profitable in less than a year. We collected market intelligence from attorneys in the field and combined it with OSINT to produce detailed intelligence reports on potential candidates, giving firms the ability to make informed decisions and reduce risk for strategically important lateral hiring decisions. We also developed a predictive analytics platform that leveraged artificial intelligence, branched into competitive intelligence, and generated in-depth market research reports for private clients who wanted to know more about the attorneys and firms they considered retaining. During my time as the assistant intelligence officer in a light infantry Battalion I held several positions including the Battalion's Intelligence Oversight Officer, Security Manager, and Unit Movement Officer. I was responsible for ensuring security clearances were maintained for over 800 Soldiers and that all physical/personnel security measures were appropriately enforced on a daily basis. As the Unit Movement Officer I was responsible for moving the entire Battalion from Fort Carson, Colorado to Fort Irwin, California and Afghanistan. This required some true networking through coordination with the US Air Force, Installation Transportation Office civilians, and government contractors. Additionally, I was responsible for briefing the entire batallion on insider threats in Afghanistan to ensure the safest possible work environment while working with partner forces.
