Started nearly 100 years ago by a group of songwriters to protect themselves and their peers, we still operate under the same guidelines: We are a member-run, non-profit organization who exist to protect our fellow members. We are the most artist/writer friendly company there is. ASCAP is not here to make money off of you, but rather here to collect and pay you the performance royalties that YOU deserve. We are the easiest decision you will ever have to make in the music industry.We collect performance income from around the world using agreements with our sister societies PRS, GEMA, SACEM, etc and directly in the United States of America where we collect for the likes of U2, Coldplay, Keane, Franz Ferdinand, Kings of Leon, Sir Paul McCartney, Madonna, Dido, The Ting Tings, Bruce Springsteen, Arctic Monkeys, Stargate, Beyonce, Jay Z, Alicia Keys, David Gray, Radiohead, Little Boots, La Roux, White Lies, Hans Zimmer, Diane Warren, Desmond Child, Max Martin, Ryan Teddar, Stevie Wonder, Howard Goodall, John Powell, Craig Armstrong, Patrick Doyle, Ashley Gorley...creative people who write and compose the music and the lyrics that enrich our lives.
