Throughout my undergraduate career, the classes that I have taken and experiences I have had, have led me to pursue Physical Therapy. I hope to provide individualized medical care through rehabilitation to my community, while incorporating empathy, compassion, a hard work ethic, and my understanding of the human body in ways that will improve health and well-being. I want to be able to say at the end of every day that I have helped my patients, since it has always been my goal to provide care to others. As a full-time student, I have also maintained a part-time job at a local restaurants, West Rose. I stayed focused on my goals as a student, kept my grades competitive and allowed ample time to complete my classwork. Working while in school gave me a strong work ethic and great organizational skills. It also enhanced my interpersonal and critical thinking skills since I consistently work to meet the needs of my customers. This job has prepared me for a career in Physical Therapy by helping me realize how much I enjoy interacting with new people. I am able to solve problems in an efficient and caring way and create an experience that will make my customers happy.
