Sales Manager
CurrentResponsible for driving both national and local revenue growth, developing strategic sales plans, and leading a dynamic team of sales professionals at KMBC/KCWE.Key Responsibilities: • Leadership & Strategy: Set the overall tone for the team, providing exemplary leadership to achieve mutually agreed-upon sales goals and priorities. • Performance Management: Clearly define Account Executive performance expectations and implement measurement processes to ensure alignment with sales targets. Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings and quarterly strategy sessions with each Account Executive. • Client Engagement: Engage in proactive one-on-one meetings with clients and prospects to drive revenue and maximize opportunities. • Revenue Growth: Strategically drive revenue throughout the year, exceeding quarterly and annual forecasts. Manage inventory and rates to maximize station revenue. • Digital & Traditional Media Integration: Oversee both traditional and digital sales efforts to achieve and exceed revenue goals. • Team Development: Coach and mentor the sales team, fostering a high-energy, team-oriented environment focused on achieving high performance and innovation. • Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and audience data to identify growth opportunities and inform sales strategies. • Collaboration: Advise the Research Director on creating research pieces to assist in sales efforts, and communicate effectively with other managers and supervisors.With a background in digital sales management, I bring a unique perspective to the role, integrating digital and traditional media solutions to deliver impactful results.
