I am an Aircraft System Engineer Student at the Singapore Institute of Technology.Before, I was a student in Singapore Polytechnic studying Aerospace Electronics. During the final year of my diploma studies, I undertook an enhanced internship at Bombardier which exposed me to aircraft maintenance procedure in the real-world setting. This internship has provided me with ample opportunities to gain knowledge and technical skills in the area of avionics, hydraulic systems, flight control systems and aircraft instruments systems. During my internship in Aircraft Maintenance at Bombardier, I had the invaluable opportunity to work closely with seasoned aircraft engineers on the ground. This hands-on experience shed light on the profound responsibilities borne by these professionals as they meticulously perform tasks critical to the safety and functionality of the aircraft.Recognizing the weighty responsibilities placed on the shoulders of aircraft engineers, I endeavored to contribute meaningfully during my internship. As part of a project, I successfully developed a comprehensive Towing Procedure Guidebook. This guidebook not only served as a reference for the towing team but also incorporated and streamlined the approved towing guidelines established by the company.This initiative aimed to facilitate better access to essential information, ensuring that the towing team could carry out their tasks with precision and adherence to Bombardier's stringent standards. By creating this guidebook, I aimed to enhance operational efficiency, safety, and overall effectiveness within the aircraft maintenance processes at Bombardier.Following my enriching internship experience, I have solidified my determination to pursue a career in aircraft maintenance. My degree studies have meticulously equipped me with the necessary knowledge and skills, guiding me on the path to becoming a proficient aircraft maintenance engineer. As part of my academic journey, I underwent comprehensive training with a SAR147 organization, further honing my practical expertise and understanding of industry standards.My passion for aircraft maintenance, coupled with my academic background and hands-on experience, positions me as a dedicated and qualified candidate ready to contribute to the challenges and advancements in this dynamic field.
