• Working as an IT consultant for the establishment of a Data Management and Information System (DMIS) support to the Monitoring and Evaluation Unit under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOHFW) of Government of Bangladesh (GoB). The project was launched to overcome the lack of information at management level mainly due to a fragmentation of data collection systems. The key approach of the DMIS was to integrate the main data sources in a centrally managed database (data warehouse), bringing together data from different sources and places in order to make them accessible and available to enhance evidence-based decision making.• The major outcome of the DMIS project was a functional composite database (data warehouse) that was able to generate reports and answers questions/queries. The selection of queries were based on already defined priority areas and key indicators for the Health Nutrition and Population Sector Program (HNPSP) monitoring and management.• Responsible for design a data warehouse to absorb information from already existing data providers and Management Information Systems (MISs)• Responsible for design and develop a data warehouse model which includes advanced functions of a relational database and a potential OLAP (Online Analytical Processing) functionality. Such a system would be able to select the necessary data from complete datasets and to modulate robust data combinations that compensate for the limited availability of quality routine data to a high degree. The system was easily adapted to the integration of new data sets and new requirements for information and indicators.• Developed criteria to recognize correctness of the data (e.g. consistency check, identify potential sources for double reporting).• Responsible for design a Management Information System (MIS) maintenance scheme.

ICIS was a Dutch consultancy company, where market analysis, feasibility and study on cost effectiveness for overseas investment were carried out.My responsibility were to develop data entry interface, data cleaning, data warehousing and analysing data with various software like Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) and Epidemiological Information (EpiInfo). Teaching SPSS and FoxPro to my colleagues were also part of my job.
