Assist program participants in completing their high school diploma. Offer literacy, writing, math, and comprehension tutoring. Organize annual graduation and prom of 100+ people. Teach bi-weekly Art & Expression workshops at two locations with groups of 10-15 participants at an organization working to reduce gun violence in Chicago. Introduce participants to a wide range of mediums including clay, paint, textiles, linocut printing, do-it-yourself body care, and more. Create safe spaces for exploration and self-expression. Share various artists’ stories for inspiration and education.

Through the Kintsugi Project, we provide a platform for survivors and allies to speak about sexual assault openly, without shame, guilt, or suffering. Our objective is to engage all of society in the dialogue about our culture and the continued prevalence of sexual violence. Encourage reconnection, between survivors, their bodies, allies, and society. Acknowledge the beauty and strength in a community working together to recover from and break the cycles of sexual violence.
