Chase has just lost his father to Huntington’s, a genetic hereditary disease with no cure. As if losing his father isn’t bad enough, Chase now must come to terms with the fact that he may have inherited the gene for Huntington’s from his dad. Chase looks to his two best friends, Luke and Merry, to help him come to terms with his tragic reality. The three of them come up with ways to complete the items on their “list”: driving, college, drinking, and girls. It’s a list of things he wants to experience before he dies, whether it is by his own hand or the hand of fate.Specialties: Jean Ziegler is a middle school teacher in Madison, Wisconsin. She teaches sixth grade English, reading, and social studies. Her first book, entitled Over the Line, was inspired by two former students. She lives in Dane, Wisconsin with her husband.
