Chosen to be Project Manager for SunRei Foods to develop and test a biodigester on site in Malang Indonesia. With a team of 4 Americans and 4 Indonesian college students, performed tests concerning the accumulation and storage of methane gas derived from rotting mangoes and fecal matter in order to power a mango dehydrator. Built a successful prototype within 5 weeks and achieved our goals under budget and on time.Impact: Successfully launched a prototype for a large mango biodigestor and led a cross-cultural team under budget and on time.Designed and implemented a mango peel biodigestor to create and capture clean, usable methane gas.Crafted together 4 Americans and 4 Indonesian students to create a successfully working unit.Showed ingenuity finding parts for biodigestor amongst non-standardized parts, caps and pipes at non-English speaking storefronts.
