• Review of Material Test Certificates for Raw Materials & Consumables • Preparation of Inspection test plan. • Preparation of preliminary WPS, qualifying the PQR and production WPS in accordance with code (AWS,ASME,EN) requirements, client specification and document the same• Coordinating with clients & projects of approval of documents• Preparation of Quality requirement for Delivery• Preparation & Presentation of Critical to Quality to cross functional teams.• Fit-up inspection as per the drawing / Bill of material.• Qualifying welders/welding operator for SAW, SMAW and FCAW process as per ASME, AWS, EN Standards.• Daily Monitoring of consumable storage and baking. • Monitoring of welding machine & portable oven calibration, up to date.• Monitoring welding process as per WPS.• Visual inspection of weld joints for weld profile, weld defect after post weld cleaning.• Ensuring weld repair is done as per WPS.• Witnessing DPT, MT, UT on Weld Joints as per ITP.• Interpretation of radiography film.• Final Dimension inspection. • Coordinating with third party inspectors for dimension, welding and final inspection.• Final dimension inspection (shell alignment, Flatness, Tilt, Ovality).• Preparing NCR for Non-Conformance with specification & preparing corrective action to be taken.• Preparation of dimension report.• Preparation of stage inspection reports as per ITP.• Coordinating with client during quality walk. • Handling Saudi Aramco, ASME & other Client audits..• Witnessing hydro test.• Preparing hydro test reports.
