This role involves:- Creating and managing the Education Department by designing and implementing the strategy and scheme of work- Working with camp partners to deliver world class courses and educational experiences on the topics of ecosystem restoration, regenerative agriculture, and the restoration of the soul and our society both at the camps and online- Creating and supporting our community of campers and course alumni to work together for collaborative action to restore our landscapes, our society, and ourselves - Supporting the work of data collection and analysis at the camps- Supporting the development of our knowledge exchange platform for camp coordinators to teach and learn from each other about all things related to restoration

This role involved:- Creating new partnerships with projects who wish to become Ecosystem Restoration Camps - Supporting these partners with on-boarding, the creation of regenerative business models, opportunities to access information and support, and the chance to communicate with and learn from one another - Supporting the camps with collecting data to demonstrate impact, learn and adapt.

I have been working with Ecosystem Restoration Camps from the concept phase, working with a team of people from across the world to build an organisation that trains people to restore damaged ecosystems, and help farmers transition to regenerative agriculture. My work involves:- Co-creating a governance structure for the organisation- Managing the outward appearance of the camps through different media channels - Working with camp staff to generate business ideas and revenue streams- Building websites - Developing educational content such as a MOOC, infographics, and management trainings - Attending and speaking at public conferences and events - Co-designing and running a regeneration festival for 500 people - Creating crowdfunding campaigns - Creating and executing a fundraising strategy - Sourcing and managing ongoing funding proposals and relationships - Creating project management systems - Designing monitoring and evaluation frameworks - Co-creating strategy for the foundation moving forward- Exploring new partnership opportunities for the foundation and the camps- Hiring and building a strong team of coordinators and circle teams around them - Exploring new locations and partners for future camps - Advising new camp teams on how to plan, build and run Ecosystem Restoration Camps around the world

As Environment Manager, my responsibilities included:- Designing and implementing the sustainability strategy and policies of the festival - Creating revenue generating activities that can raise money for the sustainability budget of the festival- Working with traders and organisations to ensure that they trade sustainably - Organising a series of talks and workshops about environmentally positive living/action

Conducting a qualitative research study into reading habits, preferences, and aspirations of children in nine schools across three districts in Cambodia. I travelled to these provinces and held focus group discussions with grade three and five students, asking them questions relating to my research topic.

This position involves communicating with existing volunteers, supporters and friends of Open Equal Free with the aim of maintaining the high quality of our programs and staying true to our mission.
