Printer:- Self-manage production on a Horizon screen printing machine with four printing heads on a daily basis and a six headed Horizon printer on an every other day basis.- Lead a team of three workers on a daily basis to meet the demands of the days work.- Liaise and effectively communicate with operation manager about priority list and productivity.- Continued communication with artwork and sales department to ensure product is to customers satisfaction.- Organise and complete the production of orders from 1 to 10000 prints- Experience printing with multiple ink types such as ND Extra and Aquaflex. - Knowledge of printing on bag materials such as: Cotton, Jute and various Canvas materials.- On a seldom basis I can operate the Challenger II Series machine at the company which has twelve printing heads, where tea towels, aprons and larger bags are printed. Ink MixerThrough an expression of interests to my management, I developed my ink mixing skills. As of when the Full-Time Ink Mixer is unavailable, I create inks for all of the screen printed jobs in production. Depending on the chosen material, I choose and develop the inks using either ND Extra base or Aquaflex. The ink is mixed to the desired pantone colour using the selected ink base with Magna Pigment. By learning these skills, I have become a better printer as I understand more about the inks properties and then can problem solve when ink issues happen during a print run.Pick & PackAt CB I sometimes work within the Pick & Pack department which deals with organising and shipping plain goods out to our customers. These range from singular items to hundreds of items.
