As the CEO of the sole community provider status hospital, I was able to create strong physician alignment and leadership team, improve quality (best performer in Sutter Health) and patient safety (zero serious safety events in over 1200 days), new service lines, reduce cost by 30% for CMI adjusted discharge (top decile performance), growth and strong.

As the CMO, I was responsible for three acute care hospitals and a large medical foundation with over 800 physicians. Few of my major achievements include significant improvement in quality performance, culture of safety journey based on science of high reliability with many fold improvement in safety, physician leadership development, clinical.

My major accomplishments include improved quality, patient safety and experience, clinical integration, physician alignment, recruitment and growth, start up of a large graduate medical education program, successful integration with 5 hospital St. Joseph Mercy Health System and Six Sigma process improvement.

Under my leadership, the ED at St. Mary Mercy Hospital excelled at providing superior patient experience in areas of quality, efficiency, service, access and coordination. Patient satisfaction, bedside registration, observation unit, ED throughput and outpatient test scheduling were few of the best practices we created.
