I have a passion for photography and my photography tuition business Blue Mountains Photography, runs alongside Whitebox, delivering short courses, individual tuition, tours and commercial photo shoots.In this role I provide short courses for beginner photographers, teach alternate processes for film (i.e. cyanotype, platinum palladium), run photo tours for small groups, provide one to one tuition for people interested in photography.

Over seven years I worked as Product Manager and Automation Engineer for the QuickCAM and CADCode suite of software products and co-developed an automation software program ‘QuickCAM for Woodworkers’. I implemented the ‘QuickCAM for Woodworkers’ automation system at forty-five different companies and led product development and technical support.

This was a strategic role linking the design and sales process of kitchen to production and installation of each project. Key responsibilities included managing Impala’s design team consisting of fifteen designers and solving design issues; working closely with check measurers to solve technical issues; estimating cost of each project and calculating designer commission; producing sales reports and drawing projects using CAD software.During this time I successfully managed complex in-house designs involving planning, designing and selling kitchens and shop fittings within both retail and commercial divisions of Impala, and managed projects for Impala’s VIP and corporate clients.

Blue Museum Design was my own shop-fitting, kitchen and interior design business.In this role I established relationships with clients, designed and sold shopfittings, exhibitions, kitchens and interiors; project managed client projects and restored houses and furniture.
