My responsibilities now encompass a wide range of key areas, primarily focused on maintaining a secure and compliant work environment.At the forefront of my duties is the mitigation of risks within the workplace, where I identify potential hazards and implement effective strategies to minimise them. I possess a comprehensive understanding of legal safety requirements and standards, allowing me to ensure full compliance across all projects and operations. An essential aspect of my role is managing and leading staff, instilling a culture of safety and consistently communicating safety expectations to all team members.I excel in the development and implementation of vital safety documentation, including but not limited to Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), Task Risk Assessments (TRAs), policies, and procedures. These comprehensive frameworks play a pivotal role in safeguarding our workforce and maintaining a proactive approach to safety. To further ensure compliance, I conduct regular inspections, safety audits, and comprehensive hazard assessments on projects, swiftly addressing any identified issues.Recognizing the significance of environmental control and protection, I oversee the implementation of measures that minimize our ecological footprint on projects.
