• Management and administration of SVS vessels operating from Pemba in support of Oil and Gas activities in the region• Providing high standards of daily liaison with clients and receiving exceptional feedback for rapid and efficient problem-solving, first class report writing and verbal briefings • Planning execution of vessel movement and support; collaborating closely with other departments to achieve optimum logistical operational and financial effective outcomes• Ensuring all vessel reporting, project KPI’s are carried out accurately and submitted to strict timelines• Planning, communicating and coordinating logistic support ashore for projects and vessels • Organising and administering all offshore resupply requirements, including scrutiny of local suppliers to ensure delivery according to contract and requirement• Liaising closely with appointed agents to ensure all correct documentation for port clearance of vessels and shipments • Reinforcing to onshore staff continual HSE improvements; responding rapidly to prevent any activity that could jeopardise health and safety or have an adverse effect on the environment• Providing input to risk assessments and emergency response plans• Auditing and inspecting subcontractors including logistics providers, port facilities, airport facilities, local hospitals and transportation companies• Conducting induction and HSSE briefs for all crew; ensuring completion of all documentation• Planning, coordinating and ensuring financial effectiveness of the shore support to offshore operations; communicating closely with business unit controller on cash flow requirements for agent services • Personally approached for the position as a result of outstanding levels of service at Drum Cussac

• Recruited to the position in recognition of exceptional performance as a security vessel Team Leader • Presiding over all security measures for the BG drilling project via private security contractors and armed Tanzanian Navy personnel, from the vantage point of the drill ship• Co-ordinating the movement of armed supply and security vessels, whilst maintaining a constant security vigil on-board all vessels at sea• Liaising closely with local military forces on security issues such as intelligence gathering and the assistance provided in the event of an attack/crisis• Designing and implementing robust ‘hardening measures’ on the drill ship to ensure a consummate level of security and professionalism pervades the operation

• Providing critical protection and support to vessels whilst in transit and in port, establishing ‘hardening measures’ in the high risk area• Leading all training in standard operating procedures and drills for vessel crews as well as providing round the clock monitoring and tracking of movements of any suspicious sea targets in the high risk area• Liaising between the client and the maritime security provider
