I am a deckhand on commuter ferries in downtown Boston- which means I am in charge of facilitating the movement of the vessel while it’s in operation, and securing the boat to the dock when we aren’t. I am in charge of handling lines to moor a vessel to a pier, assist in maintaining technical equipment and the engines, conduct various forms of patrols, and (much, much) more. I’m involved in maintaining a drug free, safety focused, and productive workplace. I began February 28, 2024.Experienced on following vessels: M/Vs Rita, Rookie, Claire, William F Lisk, Brant Point, Frederick L Nolan. Bay State, Regency, Miss Sophie, Fort Independence, etc.
