TEDI-London summer school is a part-time virtual placement which designs to collate multi-disciplinary students from a variety of higher-education providers around the world into one project-based learning experience. The project will be focused around creating solutions and solving problems that arise when trying to develop dementia-friendly environments through the use of AI and Big Data. The problem is one that is increasing in importance given the severity of dementia across the world, and as part of the multi-disciplinary team working on this problem, we hope to work together to find a solution, through the formation of a prototype. Al & Big Data is implemented to form a prototype to present to the new urban town centre at Canada Water, London.

Aiding staff with the tapering of nuts as well as the leaf spring systems of the factory.Reusing given raw materials reduces waste; provided in-depth analysis of how to conserve materials and the waste it brings.

Customer Assistant

Gained valuable knowledge of working in very busy and un-hygienic conditions in the busiest children’s hospital in Sri Lanka.

Learnt how to monitor and administer medication appropriately. Shadowed a GP at Sri Lanka’s AIDS clinic and gained a huge understanding in sexual transmitted diseases and viruses.
