About Ash Shepherd, J.D., Mba

I have been fortunate with a continued record of success building new businesses in nascent and emerging industries. Most recently being the successful divestiture of a carbon capture, utilization and sequestration business for $148 million (2x MOIC) to Total Energies. My background as a practicing commercial attorney and Rice University Executive MBA graduate provides the foundation for executive decision making and organizational management. My preferred process begins by collecting, interpreting, and implementing statistics-driven strategies at the executive corporate level, which ultimately compliments the customer value proposition. These strategies, in turn, allow me to lead highly impactful management teams, make responsible capital allocation decisions, and install systems and processes in organizations to realize its maximum potential. My firm belief in servant leadership provides other executives and managers the ability to implement corporate business-line strategies to carry out any organization’s strategic mission.Volunteering my time is also important to me personally. By spending time with organizations like the United Way and Valhalla Investment Group, I am able to give my time and experience to others. At one point in my career, I benefited from others' time, so it is important to me to pay it forward.I really enjoy meeting new people and learning about new opportunities. My email address is Ashland.Shepherd@gmail.com. Please feel free to reach out and also if you think I could help with something you are looking for.I regularly meet with students and recent graduates to provide advice and talk through challenging situations they are facing.
