Tihei Mauri Ora! I officially begin my new journey on the 7th September 2020 as the Facilities and Property Manager for Te Runanga O Toa Rangatira Inc here in Porirua. I take with me some amazing skills and training that I have gained from Wellington International Airport Ltd and I will be using everything that I have gained to add to an already successful Iwi led organization. 4 months unemployed from a redundancy has taught me to be resilient and patient. Job hunting with so many other affected people has been difficult but I have landed in an amazing position. I ensure all allocated Facilities and Commercial Projects are delivered successfully on time and within budget. The Facilities Project Manager role is important to the success of Wellington International Airport as the role allows the airport to plan and deliver improvements to its assets whether it is a Capital investment or part of Operational maintenance. We insure that assets are in good condition and available to perform as required. I network across the entire airport working with key stakeholders and tenants and work alongside preferred contractors to start, manage and deliver various key projects.

Part of the Facilities/IT and Infrastructure team who have the responsibility of maintaining and upgrading various key infrastructure air side and surrounding the airport perimeter. Are the go to maintenance personnel who assist in conjunction with key contractors the maintenance of several buildings, properties, road ways and key plant and machinery to ensure an efficient and timely airport operation - the blue collar personnel in a 24 hour machine ensuring that the flight requirements for International and local travelers in the Capital of New Zealand is never interrupted.
