Ash Webster is a Lead Game Designer at Climax Studios. Colleagues describe them as "Ash is a Game Designer by trade who has successfully crossed the divide into a fully blown Track Artist. Initially Ash’ responsibilities involved track feedback, AI placement and all important Gameplay considerations such as Gantry and Corner Flag placement (using our flag warning system) After getting familiar with some of the Track Leads tools, and having already being a fantastic help during the heady days of Driveclub’s initial GM phase Ash expressed an interest in creating a full track Production. After a short trial period it was clear Ash would be a full fit for the Team and we gave him a full track deliver as part of our Service Plan. We game him Track Lead role on ‘Lake Shoji’ one of our Japanese DLC tracks. Ash took instruction well and worked incredibly hard to deliver a great looking, enjoyable, optimised Driveclub track. Ash is a great asset to any World Team as he can not only view a track from a game designer (and gamers perspective) but he has also developed an understanding into how a track artist approaches Production the task at hand. He’s a great guy, a passionate gamer and someone who definitely made a huge to the Driveclub experience. "
