I thrive on connecting with people and find joy in diverse interactions, whether I’m serving as a counsellor, sharing my passion for handicrafts, or exploring opportunities in film production. While I value my independence and possess self-confidence, I genuinely enjoy collaborating and excelling in fast-paced environments, even when under pressure.Currently, I am pursuing a Master’s in Education of Counselling at the University of New Brunswick. I have gained valuable experience in counselling by supporting Indigenous students at my previous high school for two years. In addition, I have conducted research with Indigenous youth and their contributions to renewable energy, and I currently serve as a First Nations Tobacco Cessation Project Lead at the Canadian Cancer Society.Fueled by my entrepreneurial spirit, I launched my own business, Bear Beadwork, where I create beaded jewelry, clothing, cups, and other forms of Indigenous art. I take great pride in this venture, not only for the creative expression it allows but also for the workshops I host, which help promote Indigenous art and culture.
