My team is part of GGN working within the network demand functional areas. Our primary focus lies in crafting a range of network products aimed at scaling the network infrastructure by modeling, visualizing, and analyzing capacity with demand. My role is to own AWS networking infrastructure and direct the Cloud Network (CN), Host Networking (HN) engineering teams establishing a clear vision and strategic direction, defining priorities, and evolving strategic roadmaps to align with the organization's overarching objectives.Championed the growth of the Cloud Network Engineering team, achieving a 100% increase in team size in one year. Closed critical technical skill gaps, single point of failure, streamlined recruitment processes, and developed precise interview rubrics, resulting in a 40% reduction in time-to-hire.Own Network as a Service abstraction layer for AWS network primitives like VPCs, Transit Gateways, L4/L7 load balancers, NAT Gateways, Security Groups and TLS. Created SLIs & SLOs to durably scale the network architecture.Re-engineered container networking for Netflix's Titus compute (Kubernetes-like), scaling up the IP manager service to handle a 5X increase in requests per second (RPS) capacity and reducing average P99 container launch latency by 10X. These improvements directly contributed to meeting compute runtime SLIs and SLOs for Big Data Compute platforms such as Spark and Flink. Engineered an observability service: Flowcollector system capable of processing 280+ billions of flow logs every day using Linux and eBPF for low-level metric collection. Realized annual savings of $5 million by orchestrating projects in cloud efficiency efforts including simplified network architecture and migration of our largest microservices to IPv6. IPv6 also set the path for Netflix to avoid AWS additional charges for Public IPV4 usage. Innovated a IPv6 to IPv4 transition mechanism in the kernel to eliminate the need for NAT-GWs saving 3M+ annualized cost.

Manage a team of 20+ engineers (backend and device) overseeing control and dataplane functions in software-defined networking (SDN).
