There is a thorough assessment procedure for companies that want to be qualified and listed as "Knowledge-based" (with its formal measures and definitions) and take benefit from associated privileges, and in this procedure it is necessary to do financial and technical due-diligence.I am involved in technical due diligence of companies in Electronics and Biomedical Engineering fields.My job in this procedure consists of evaluating technical documents with utmost scrutiny, visiting the company's product line and R&D center and interviewing key technical personnel, and finally preparing thorough reports for corresponding council in Vice-Presidency.

Its sole LP is Arzesh Pardaz Arian investment advisory company, which is one of the most prominent and reputable players in Iranian capital market.My role as head of research and development division in VCBoom has two different aspects; one is regarding market research and due-diligence of investment opportunities, and the other is about monitoring the global trends of innovation in related fields.

Apadana Ventures is the first VC firm in Iran energy industry and also has been acting as ecosystem developer, trying to spread the open innovation discourse and connecting different stakeholders inside the energy industry.I served as venture analyst in Apadana and also as a R&D person. Some of the projects done in the R&D side of my work include:o Benchmarking of innovation centers in oil and gas industry.o Concept design of an innovation center suited for Iran oil and gas industry.o Examples and success stories in energy industry's open innovation in different markets.o and many more.

Carchain is a startup that aims to revolutionize the transportation services. With a primary focus on ride-hailing, Carchain's core idea is about decentralizing and disintermediation of all transportation services using blockchain and other distributed computing technologies.There is no single unique entity in Carchain network who has the final say about something; Even ride commissions are determined in a sort of free competitive market and therefore are inherently lower than existing traditional systems.My current job at Carchain is doing research about technical, economical and business aspects of the project. The result of my work, along with my colleagues', is compiled in reports and written contents that help shape the discourse about the project, both in public media and also in pitch and presentation sessions.
