Responsibilities:- User Clustering and Visualization: Used machine learning to cluster users, identifying potentially suspicious groups and bots. Created 2D and 3D visualizations for clearer insights.- ETA Prediction Models: Created machine learning models to predict Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) for rides in Dhaka and Chittagong, covering both pickup and ride durations. Notably, improved Chittagong’s within-threshold rides from 20% to 60%. Created dashboards for ETA analysis, used by engineers and product teams.- Dashboards: Developed multiple dashboards for different use cases including Search performance and ETL monitoring.- Data Deduplication: DDeveloped a machine learning solution to deduplicate address data in our maps.- A/B Test Analysis: Analyzed and reported on A/B tests, aiding data-driven decisions.- Data Model Development: Created data models that supported data scientists and analysts in their work.- Fraud Detection: Managed fraud detection for our food vertical, ensuring smooth operation and supporting Operations and Customer Experience teams with relevant data.- Address Parsing Service: Contributed in developing our address parsing service, including a fallback algorithm using customer historical data, enhancing hub-level coverage by 10% and accuracy by 1.5%, saving time and costs for our courier business. Developed multiple APIs and data pipelines with email notification.- Data Models for Firebase Events: Designed and implemented a data model architecture for efficiently storing and handling Firebase behavioral events data.- Transliteration Algorithm and Library: Developed an algorithm for transliterating Bengali text into English for use in our address parsing service, enhancing hub-level coverage by 8% and district-level coverage and accuracy by 1%. Also created a Go library and a microservice for this purpose, enabling broader use across services. Added a user interface for internal users to test and provide feedback.
