In my final year of a Bachelor of Health Sciences, majoring in Public Health and Minor in Management. Working within the Loddon Mallee Public Health Unit. Expanding my knowledge on public health and communicable diseases. I am fortunate enough to have worked in various roles in the health industry since finishing high school. I have grown very passionate about health and helping people the best versions of themselves. Initially, I began studying nursing but have recently changed my degree as I become particularly passionate about health protection and promotion during my time with the Loddon Mallee Public Health Unit. I was able to learn new skills in 2021 when I started my role with the COVID Positive Pathways team. We helped monitor cases that were significantly unwell and allowed the local emergency departments to not be strained with COVID positive patients that could be assessed and treated within their homes.I am always eager to learn and grow in my roles, I am excited to build a rapport with clinical staff and administration staff and become a Public Health Officer, and eventually an Operations Manager who is diligent and empathetic like those I work around everyday.
