In this role, I have designed and developed various streams of promotion and communication for the e-commerce division of Homeshop18. I have been entirely responsible for all the content and visuals that go live on the website, all Social media platforms as well as other outbound marketing partners with a talented team of internal content writers and graphic designers. Before my joining the e-commerce at homeshop18 (teleshopping channel) the web division was just a plus for the tv channel and was mostly used for TV channel support. My area of work here began with developing an individual identity of the online shopping site that was not completely dependent on TV for its revenue. I worked on the UI design changes for the website, mobile site and App. Thus my work helped the homeshop18 website to have its individual place on the online shopping platform giving it a unique personality that saw a steep rise in new customer base and rising sales graph. Akin to the website I also designed the communication calendar for its social media towards brand identity and customer engagement on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and social media influencers. I took it to a stage where we have one of the highest ROIs from Social media Platforms.Initiating and visualizing more than 24 sales and promotion campaigns throughout the year was also a part of my portfolio. And simultaneously getting all promotion marketing delivered and overseeing various stakeholders like the SEO team, and Digital Marketing team to reach maximum impact in both paid and organic formats.

At Zovi.com, in my role as the online content manager, I single-handedly maintained the website content and communication needs. Designed and developed the zovi blog, contributing to a rich and well-maintained storyline both by personally writing articles for the blog and also commissioning the work to other writers and industry experts. I worked closely with the SEO team in developing effective and increasing substantial organic traffic on the website in a very short period. Planning and executing product launches. Develop and launch a promotional calendar for the website.

This being my first experience with online selling and e-commerce it gave me great insights and learning of the e-commerce world. This was also a time when the e-com communication language was in its nascent stages in India. Here I played a pivotal role in setting the standards of product info, e-com marketing and online campaigns. This involved a lot of research work in the demographic and psychology of rural and urban online shopping consumers. And then designing the entire communication plan best to their understanding and user feasibility.

I was actively involved in the launch of this website and thus was spearheading its design and outreach. Working with a startup gave me the opportunity to wear different hats and have hands-on experience in all the different aspects of launching an E-magazine apart from contributing as a writer and editor. This job also involved a round-the-clock cover of all the fashion events in Delhi and also internationally, adding to my skills in trend analysis, fashion forecasting, styling, interviews and more.

Handling the brand communication for Textile Designer Neeru Kumar included developing the marketing calendar for the brand. Constantly working towards forming various new collaborations with other like-minded art platforms like audio ashram that would give our brand better visibility. Getting media coverage by regularly churning press releases and relevant articles to be published in various fashion and design magazines. I played a key role in getting celebrities to wear Neeru Kumar at events like the Oscars and Filmfare.

This was my first job after completing my graduation from NIFT, New Delhi. Here I worked as a fashion expert journalist for two magazines Business of Fashion and Sportswear International India under its umbrella. Both magazines had two different sets of languages and stylistic impressions. Business of Fashion is a B2B magazine that deals with stories and research data on India's retail market. Sportswear International India covered the glossy fashion features of illustrated fashion. Apart from contributing as a fashion writer I also planned and executed Fashion trend photoshoots for Sportswear International India.
