From being a BCom graduate specializing in Finance and tax to a Product manager was a path I never thought would align, but it sure did align with who I am. The path kickstarted when I was doing an accounts analyst internship for Aabasoft, where my responsibility was to take care of their product and do competitive analysis to find potential upgrades. Their product was Accounting Software, so it made sense because of my degree.So the pivot happened when I started enjoying the product management aspect of my job- Customer interviews, Providing client support, market research, and most importantly, being empathetic to my customers to identify their struggles so that our product can satisfy them and that was the sweet spot for me to pivot to this path and I have zero regrets.Fast forward to today, and here I am as a Product Manager at Armia Systems, doing what I enjoy: annoying my team members to get things done! (just kidding). The honest answer is working with a team. It makes me feel so productive and efficient in getting things done. I always enjoyed working with others. Having a team that evaluates and resonates with your vision excites me to work on product features and ideas. The idea of working with engineers, Designers, and marketers and learning from them is what makes this beautiful, as you get to taste their world and understand the crux of each problem/solutionAway from work, I love to play video games.
